Tour Overview

There are three main geographical zones in Jordan; the eastern desert, the ridge, and Jordan Rift Valley respectively from east to west, while the eastern desert is flat, dry, and harsh, the ridge is relatively rich with freshwater streams, peaks, and wildlife, adjacent to the ridge lay down long canyon “Jordan Rift Valley”

We selected the best part of the ridge in this itinerary from Dana nature reserve to Petra, the canyons to the south of Petra as well as Wadi Rum, as most of the trekking tours go through the ridge.

The itinerary includes three trekking stations where you sleep in tents in the wilderness. After seeing some famous archaeological sites near Amman, you will hike the famous trail to Petra from Dana nature reserve, and then spend two nights in Petra’s old city while staying in hotels, Continue hiking through the southern canyons from Petra to Wadi Rum, which is one of the wildest and most beautiful trails, before visiting Aqaba and the Dead Sea.
