VISITING THE EILAT MOUNTAINS
It is around 4 km south of Eilat if you opt to access the reserve from Solomon’s Canyon. The Ha-Metsuda rock is the first thing you’ll see. From there, the trail continues into the mountain for 16 kilometers. The imposing Har Yehoshafar, Har Shlomo, and Har Uziya may all be seen as you pass beneath them. The route continues until it reaches Red Canyon after crossing the Moon Valley Highway.
