A magnificent, breath-taking pearl that was certainly a labor of love was born after intricate preservation and restoration effort over the course of eight years. The preservation operation, which was carried out under the direction of the Antiquities Authority, was meticulously planned out in every last detail.
Specially flown in artisans from Italy were brought in to do this delicate task and restore the stunning ceilings.
