At the border, follow your guide’s instructions as you navigate the exit formalities on the Jordanian side. After completing the Jordanian side, you’ll proceed on foot to the Israeli side where you’ll go through entry procedures, which might include passport control, security checks.

Once you’ve successfully passed through both sides of the border, you’ll be in Eilat, Israel, marking the official end of your Petra excursion. From here, you can either pre-arrange transportation onward to your final destination or explore the charming Red Sea resort town of Eilat.
